About Me

Hello! My name is Casey Vieau. I have a M.S. in Mental Health Counseling and a M.S. in Psychology. I am licensed in the state of Minnesota as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) as well as a Minnesota Board of Behavioral Health and Therapy approved LPC/LPCC Supervisor. I have been working in the mental health field for the past fifteen years, primarily focused on providing trauma-informed counseling services to individuals, parents, couples, and children.

My approach blends traditional psychotherapy, which emphasizes thoughts and feelings, with somatic therapy, which focuses on your body’s reactions and sensations, while following a Trauma Informed Care model of treatment. Through therapy, I hope to help you gain insights and develop  the skills that allow you to experience growth while relieving suffering. My approach incorporates outside perspective, psychoeducation, reflection/meditation, and mindfulness, and daily practice in an individualized approach to meeting your unique needs. I have a passion for working with young adults, children and couples. I welcome art, mindfulness, music, and spirituality into my daily practice
